It is hard not to know who New Zealand Post<\/a> are, but for those who have been living in the mountains and have no clue, New Zealand Post has been ingrained in the Kiwi way of life for 170 years and are committed to a future that meets our mailing needs both physically and digitally. It is part of this dedication, that led them to open their new parcel sorting facility next to the Christchurch Airport.<\/p>\n

The facility is home to the latest in mail sorting technology including a multi-million-dollar parcel sorting machine. Of course, ensuring the safety of this equipment around vehicles and heavy machinery such as forklifts is top priority, but so is protecting their staff and the foot traffic around the facility. Which is why, when we were approached to find a solution for the facility, we knew we had to get it right and provide a barrier system that could grow with them.<\/p>\n

After our initial conversation on traffic management our team set to work on finding the best possible way to help New Zealand Post\u2019s international parcel facility.<\/p>\n

What we realised in our planning and assessment was that the facility would be growing and changing over time so our solution needed to be one that could be altered without too much hassle or interference to their workflow.<\/p>\n

Which is why we recommended the modular system of ForkSafe<\/a>. The ForkSafe barrier<\/a> is a quality engineered barrier suitable for factories.
